Haochen Zhao is a 4th-year material science and engineering student at the University of California, Davis. Willing to discover the application of different types of materials in various fields of industries, he joined the materials outreach program at UC Davis in summer 2020. Haochen is interested in making posters and doing experiments to advocate the importance of material science and engineering. He is especially interested in learning and using his knowledge to assist in enhancing battery lifetimes, discovering better materials for solar panels, or studying other energy materials. In his spare time, he loves watching science fiction films and enjoying delicious food.
