Rachel Altovar is a fourth-year Materials Science & Engineering undergraduate student. She hopes to promote inclusion and diversity throughout all STEM education and fields. From her studies, Rachel plans to tackle sustainability through product and packaging reusability and recycling. She is one of the founding members of the student-run MOC and is currently the acting President. Rachel is looking forward to continuing spreading materials science awareness. She especially is excited to be working on growing the club this year in members and ideas. In her free time, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cooking and baking, going for walks and listening to music.
